Thermablok Aerogel Insulation Strips

Thermablok Aerogel Insulation Strips

Key Facts:

    - Thermablok Aerogel has for many years offered and continues to offer lowest thermal conductivity of any known insulation material 0.015W/mK (0.018W/mK for A2-s1,d0) providing the highest R-value and the lowest U-value for maximum energy efficiency.
    - An easy to use peel and stick system to insulate localised thermal bridging points such as timber frame, steel frame, reinforced steel structures, lintels and window frames (as pictured below).
    - Using patented nanotechnology, Thermablok Aerogel insulation is hydrophobic yet breathable. It is physically robust being soft and flexible with excellent spring back properties. Thermablok Aerogel recovers its thermal performance even after point load compression events as high as 50psi.
    - Supplied directly to ensure best practice.

Thermablok Aerogel is available in a specially engineered and easy to use peel and stick strip system for elimination of localised thermal bridging in steel and wood substrates and increases assembly R value ratings.

These strips are manufactured in a standard sizes and encapsulated in a heat shrink sleeve to accommodate common building methods and are also available in differing widths, lengths and various foil lining systems where required for differing steel framing solutions.

The system can be used in tandem with Acoustiblok Sound Insulation material to increase acoustical dampening and transmission loss properties. Independent testing shows up to a 22% increase when Acoustiblok and Thermablok Aerogel Wall Isolation Strips are included in an assembly. Acoustically tested wall assemblies to STC 85dBA.

When localised thermal bridging needs to be addressed, environmentally friendly Thermablok Aerogel Wall Isolation Systems deliver the ultimate energy saving solution with rapid returns on investment.
