Thermablok Aerogel is a flexible, nanoporous aerogel blanket insulation with the lowest thermal conductivity of any material known – 0.015W/mK and 0.016W/mK. Greatly reducing thermal bridging and energy loss by increasing thermal resistance within minimum depths in those hard to treat areas and tight tolerances. Therefore within building and construction it conserves interior space / gross internal areas in residential and commercial building applications. It is typically applied for complete coverage in walls, floors and roofs as well as in critical steel structures, framing and goalpost type designs, as well as bifold and windows to provide maximum energy efficiency. Available in differing specifications with differing fire classes and thermal conductivities. Please be sure to specify the correct material for the application intended.

Thermablok Aerogel A2 Insulation Blanket (Fire Classification A2-s1,d0)(Thermal Conductivity 0.016W/mK) is available in bespoke custom manufactured strips for use in all types of applications, steel structures and framing situations for elimination of localised and repeat thermal bridging through typical construction. Typically specified and available with a robust foil facing to arrest porosity / permeability / breathability were not required. Can also be supplied with a double sided tape on the reverse for a temporary fix in position prior to chosen finish or facia. Contractors can also choose to purchase core blanket materials sold in slabs or rolls from which they can cut their own suitable strips on site.

Thermablok Aerogel ThermaSlim IWI MgO Board System composite systems for walls, window reveals. Thermablok Aerogel ThermaSlim (IWI) Boards are a unique insulation board system, manufactured to combine our superior and advanced Thermablok Aerogel 10mm Blanket (increasing increments of 10mm) onto a rigid carrier board (6mm or 9mm), therefore 16mm, 19mm, 29mm, 39mm, 49mm or 59mm, for a thin, easy direct fix to substrate.
Remarkably thin, offering important savings on the depth of insulation system and therefore greatly reducing the overall depths and subsequent effects on the Gross Internal Areas (GIA). Differing systems available – Vapour Open – (breathable) for breathable construction or a Vapour Closed (non breathable) to remove porosity by incorporating an integral vapour control layer – to be specified as required. This factor of permeability and porosity should be determined and specified by a qualified professional.

(IFI) IMPACT PANEL
Thermablok Aerogel ThermaSlim (IFI) Impact Panel is a unique ultra thin, ultra high performance, direct fix internal floor insulation system for new and refurbishment properties. Combing our advanced and superior Thermablok Aerogel Blanket (increments of 10mm) onto a 3mm impact board to assist in spreading load and removing point load. Available in 3 thicknesses – 13mm, 23mm and 33mm.
It delivers outstanding thermal insulation upgrades while maximising gross internal area (GIA) for home owners, occupants, developers and investors.
This system typically and invariably provides an easier installation method with considerably less labour than working with raw blanket materials. In some cases an additional layer such as a tile backer board or reinforcing membrane may also be required over the top of the aforementioned Impact Panels to further spread load prior to certain chosen finishes.
