We also manufacture Thermablok Aerogel Insulation Blanket into a rigid internal wall insulation board called ThermaSlim IWI (Wall / Reveal) for ease of application. However, Thermablok Aerogel Insulation Blanket is frequently installed as a wall insulation, without a carrier board, with either a mesh and render principle or in conjunction with our insulated rail systems.
As a mesh and render application affixed direct to substrate with mechanical fixings followed by a plaster bond coat and finish. This is particularly useful where any curvature or radius profiles are to be treated or possibly where a textured finish is required.
As a ThermaSlim Insulated Stud Basement Rail System where Thermablok Aerogel Insulation Blanket is applied in between an insulated framing system. This is particularly useful where attaching to waterproofing tanking systems or additional service voids are to be created within the detail.
